A Rulers Alley will be set up in Cricova town of Chisinau municipality. Contacted by IPN, Mayor of Cricova Valentin Gutan said they intend to inaugurate the alley on May 22, when the settlement celebrates is day. The Rulers Alley will consist of the bronze busts of ten famous rulers.
Valentin Gutan noted that they are now making the busts. The casting works cost about 1 million lei, without the installation and laying out works. “The Rulers Alley in Cricova will be the only one of the kind in the country. We do not have such an alley as a public monument now. There is something similar on the territory of the Ministry of Defense, but access to that area is restricted,” he stated
The Rulers Alley will consists of the busts of Alexandru Lapusneanu, Vasile Lupu, Mircea cel Batran, Grigore Ghica, Petru Rare, Stefan cel Mare, Dimitrie Cantemir, Mihai Viteazul, Alexandru cel Bun, Vlad Tepes, and Alexandru Ioan Cuza.
