Sheriff Tiraspol remains at the top of the National Division table, despite a 0-0 draw at home with Rapid Ghidighici, Info-Prim Neo reports. This was Romanian coach Mihai Stoichita’s first game at the helm of Sheriff. Dacia Chisinau failed to profit from their rivals’ mistake and obtained only a 1-1 draw at home with FC Tiraspol. After conceding in the first half a goal from Brazilian player Fred Nelson, the Yellow Wolves leveled the score in the second half thanks to Montenegro’s Milos Krkotic. Milsami Orhei moved to the third place after a dramatic 3-2 victory over National Division new entrees Speranta Crihana Veche. Zimbru Chisinau managed their first victory in a spectacular 3-2 fixture away at Iskra-Stal Ribnita.
