Sheriff Tiraspol rank 81st among best world football clubs

Sheriff Tiraspol climbed 25 spots to the 81st position in the October world club rankings released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, Info-Prim Neo reports. The jump was possible owing to Sheriff's good performance in the national championship and the European cups. Sheriff's adversaries in Group H of Europa League take the following positions: Twente – 19th, Fenerbahce – 33rd, Steaua Bucharest – 60th. The rankings of the best 350 world club teams include one more Moldovan team. After being absent for several months, Dacia Chisinau returned in the rankings. They climbed 119 spots to the 312nd, alongside West Ham England and Malaga Spain. Manchester United head the rankings. They are followed by Barcelona and Mircea Lucescu's and Alexandru Spiridon's Shakhtyor.
