Six candidates apply for Moldova 1’s chairperson position

Six candidates applied for the position of chair of the Moldova 1 public television channel. Two of them submitted incomplete files, and will be admitted only if they manage to complete their applications by September 14, Teleradio Moldova's Supervisory Board president Eugeniu Ribca told Info-Prim Neo. The candidates are Arcadie Gherasim, Vasile Grozavu, Ludmila Belcencova, Mircea Surdu, Dorin Scobioala, and Sorin Bucataru, the last two having incomplete applications. The contest will take place on Friday, September 14, starting 10am. The candidates will have 20 minutes to present their intentions for improving the channel, and will have another 30 minutes to answer to question from the MC’s members. The “Moldova 1” TV channel has no chairperson since the leave of Angela Sirbu in March. The contest organized in May did not yield any positive results, because none of the applicants accumulated enough votes to pass.
