Six Moldovans and two Italians still in hospital as a result of road accident in Romania

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova issued a press release, saying six Moldovans and two Italians are still in a hospital in Deva town following the accident that happened in Hunedoara county last night. Doctors say the patients are out of damager and their condition is satisfactory. They may be discharged later today, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The road accident involving 53 persons occurred on the D.N. 7 highway, not far from Simeria town. The Romanian police sent a note to the Moldovan Embassy in Bucharest, informing that the driver of the SETRA bus with the license number IL QC 737, which is registered in Moldova, did not keep the required distance from another car going in front of it. The car stopped suddenly and in order to avoid a collision, the driver of the bus turned to the left. The bus went out of control and overturned. As a result, 21 persons suffered injuries. According to the police in Hunedoara, among the Moldovans and the two Italians were two Ukrainian citizens and a Russian.
The bus was heading for Italy. Half of the passengers involved in the accident continued their trip by another bus. One more bus set off for Deva on Saturday to take the other passengers to Italy.
The Romanian police started a legal case over causing of bodily injury.
The Embassy of Moldova in Bucharest keeps in touch with the Romanian authorities and doctors so as to provide the necessary support to the hospitalized Moldovans.
