Six persons apply for Moldova 1 directorship

Six persons filed applications for the post of director of the public TV channel Moldova 1. As a result of preliminary examinations, four of the applications were accepted, while the other two were declared incomplete, Info-Prim Neo reports. Eugeniu Rybka, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova, has told Info-Prim Neo that Ion Terguta, Mircea Surdu, Nicu Scorpan, and Alexandru Grosu presented all the required documents, while Ghenadie Brega and Tatiana Bordeianu are to provide papers showing that they meet the requirements for directorship by December 14, 10.00. The contest to choose a candidate will take place on December 14, starting at 10.00. Each candidate will make a presentation and state their opinions on the strategic development directions of Teleradio-Moldova, the organizational and other schemes. Afterward, the applicants will answer questions. The debates and voting will follow next. The last attempt to choose the director of the public TV channel was made on September 14. No candidate polled a sufficient number of votes.
