A conscript soldier of the National Army was discovered strangled near the Bulboaca training ground on June 25.
Ala Diaconu, press officer of the Ministry of Defense, has told IPN that according to preliminary inquiries, the soldier left the training ground without permission on June 23. His body was found in the wood situated near the ground.
The man was drafted into the army in January.
The Military Prosecutor’s Office of Chisinau municipality started a criminal case. Concomitantly, a special commission of the Ministry of Defense is holding an inquiry into this incident.
