St Theodore Tiron Monastery close to being robbed

A 35-year-old man from Chisinau was arrested after he tried to steal the money from a donation box of St Theodore Tiron Monastery that is situated in the capital city. Adrian Jovmir, spokesman for the Chisinau Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened in the evening of March 13. The man didn’t manage to steal anything as he was noticed by several persons, who called the police. The man faces a fine of 4,000 to 10,000 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service, or up to three years’ imprisonment.
