Nearly 1200 young people will be conscripted into military service, and another 10 - into military service with a reduced term between november 2024 and january 2025. At the same time, soldiers who have completed 12 months of military service will be transferred to the reserve. A draft decision, in this regard, was approved today at the government meeting, IPN reports.
According to the Defense Ministry, according to the procedure, the process of conscription of citizens into military service on term or reduced term is carried out in stages, according to a schedule drawn up and approved by the Defense Ministry.
The process of conscription is carried out annually, jointly with the local public administration, military-territorial centers and the relevant ministries.
Conscription into the military service is carried out in accordance with the Law on the Preparation of Citizens for the Defense of the Homeland.
