The Chisinau Municipality needs 11 million lei to replace plates with street names and block numbers or install them where they are missing. The calculations were presented by the head of the Housing and Landscaping Division Petru Gontea during the City Hall operative meeting, IPN reports.
About 2 million lei are needed to replace the street plates in the central part of the city alone. An additional 500,000 lei is needed to put up plates where they are missing.
This year, the Division allotted 500,000 lei for this purpose.
