Student essay contest dedicated to Moldova’s water resources

High school and university students are invited to participate in an essay contest dedicated to the water resources of Moldova and organized by “Revista Apelor” /“Water Magazine”/. “The contest aims to popularize the knowledge of water resources among the youth, stimulate the establishment and investigation of problems on a local and national level, and change the students’ mindset about the protection of water resources”, Vladimir Garaba, the editor of the magazine, has told Info-Prim Neo. According to the editor, the participants are to write an essay on maximum two computer-written pages, where to analyze various problems of the water resources of the country in general, or of the hometown in particular. The essays are expected at chbemm@moldnet.md. The deadline for submissions is September 1. The winners will get money prizes and the best works will be published in the magazine.
