The municipal "Camerata Chisinau" Orchestra made its debut in Bucharest, performing for the first time on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum. On Tuesday, Moldovan artists presented a musical performance across the Prut River for the first time, IPN reports.
The concert, titled "Barock, ba Romantic", is a fusion of the strict structure of Baroque music and the expressive intensity of late Romanticism.
"The orchestra successfully brought elegance and expressiveness across the Prut," stated a press release from the Chisinau City Hall.
The event was organized by the Camerata Chisinau Association and the European Center for Bessarabian Artists, with support from the Chisinau City Hall and the Romanian Cultural Institute "Mihai Eminescu" in Chisinau.
"Camerata Chisinau" was relaunched in 2021 and consists of 30 young musicians, including graduates and students from academies in Chisinau, Bucharest, Cluj, Kyiv, Moscow, and Finland.
