The village of Sipoteni from Calarasi rayon has been designated “Youth Capital 2020”. The announcement was made by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research/ MECC at the National Awards Gala for Youth Sector Development, IPN reports.
According to MECC, the settlement has extensive experience in implementing projects at local level, including in partnership with youth organizations. Several youth activities will take place there in 2020. Also, the village will benefit of almost one million lei, depending on the quality and relevance of the planned youth activities.
In 2019, the "Youth Capital" is Costesti village in Ialoveni district.
At the Gala, which took place on Friday, November 22, the best youth specialists for the year 2019 were designated. They were awarded prizes worth up to 20 thousand lei.
