This year’s Christmas gifts fair is not remarked by something special, visitors consider

The present edition of the Christmas gifts fair impressed modestly its visitors. I notice the same knitted goods, the same cosmetics products. And the prices are the same as in shops, maybe 1 or 2 lei cheaper. Nothing special,” Tatiana, one of the visitors, said. Most of the companies present at the exhibition planned to promote their new products, to strengthen their image and less to have profits. “We want people to know us, to know what we sell, where our shops are,” said Zinaida, a representative of a company, which imports and sells fish products. Artisans of the Popular Craftsmen Union were also present. The exhibition for them is also a means of promoting their art and popular artist. “We have varied products. We are here several times a year. However, though the organizers offered us the stand at a lower price, we sold not so much. As to the popular art, the state should get involved more seriously,” said Grigore, a craftsman. At the Christmas Fair, the visitors could see and buy Christmas tree toys, souvenirs, cosmetics, clothes, jewelry, food products, etc. Among the interesting things displayed on the handicraftspeople's stand there are covers for mobile phones, made in a popular style. The artificial Christmas trees cost between 500-1500 lei. The Christmas toys fair unfolded from December 18 to 21 at Moldexpo Exhibition Center.
