Traffic restrictions imposed in connection with Lithuanian President’s visit

Movement on a number of streets in Chisinau will be restricted while the official column of the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite will travel along them, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Traffic Police Division press officer Aurelia Mija, sections of the streets Dacia, Ciuflea, Bucuresti, Maria Cibotari, 31 august, and Nicolae Iorga have been closed for traffic in the morning. Portions of the streets Nicolae Iorga, 31 august, Pushkin, and Veronica Micle will be inaccessible to traffic from 11.55 until 12.40. Between 12.45 and 13.20, movement will be restricted along the route the Government Building – Veronica Micle – Banulescu Bodoni – Bucuresti – Ciuflea, while between 13.45 and 16.05 – along the route Ciuflea – Bucuresti – Shchusev – Mihai Viteazu – Petricani – Visterniceni – Calea Orheiului – Stauceni, and Cricova winery. The last route that will closed is Cricova – Stauceni - Calea Orheiului – Visterniceni – Petricani - Mihai Viteazu – Shchusev – Bucuresti – Ciuflea – Viaduct - Dacia – Airport, from 16.05 until 16.30. The traffic police warn drivers to avoid these road sections and not to park vehicles illegally on them.
