Truck runs over woman’s foot as she slips

A 63 year old woman could lose her leg after she had slipped and a truck ran over her legs. She was crossing the MItropolit Dosoftei Street near the Trolleybus Park when the misfortune happened, Info-Prim Neo reports. Evelina Rusu, coordinator doctor of the Emergency Service, said the woman suffered an open fracture of one of her legs and multiple wounds of the other. Fortunately, a driver had applied the woman an emergency tourniquet to stop the bleeding before the ambulance arrived. Afterwards, she was transported to the Emergency Hospital. On Friday, October 29, a 54 year old woman was hit by a vehicle at a crossing in Stauceni. The car left the accident scene. The Emergency doctors found she had suffered multiple traumas, right femur contusion, backbone contusion and transported her to the Emergency Hospital. Last night, around 3 AM, a 23 year old man was attacked by his host. He reached the hospital with a knife wound above the collarbone. On Friday and Saturday morning, the ambulances operate 691 interventions in Chisinau and dealt with 49 cases of viral infections, 25 pneumonias, 46 traumas, 9 strokes and 24 births.
