TVR Iasi and TV Moldova remember 'flower bridge' 20 years later

The crews of TVR Iasi and TV Moldova 1 remember the events that took place on the banks of the Prut 20 years ago. On Thursday, May 6, the journalists will try to make again a 'flower bridge' between Moldova and Romania through the agency of television. The event will be broadcast live on TVR3, TVR Iasi and TV Moldova 1 Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from TVR Iasi. The special programs will start early in the morning. During the program “Good morning, Moldova!” that starts at 07.00, Horia Gumeni and his invitees will speak about the importance of the event that took place 20 years ago. A dialogue between TVR Iasi and TV Moldova 1 Chisinau themed “Hearty Meetings” will start at 19.45. It will feature Moldovan and Romanian families that took part in the 'flower bridge' 20 years ago. There will be related a number of life stories, including of the teacher Stefan Voicu, who was then a student of the Iasi Teacher Training High School and donated books to his Bessarabian brothers. Twenty years later, he got back one of those books. It was kept by the artistic director of TVR Iasi Violeta Gorgos in her library. There will be presented archive images, reports and live broadcasts from Ungheni. The artistic moments will be accompanied by songs sung by the folk music singer from Iasi Stefan Pintilie. Both of the programs will be broadcast live on the national channel TVR3 and the regional channel TVR Iasi.
