Two die in overnight fires

Two people died in separate house fires that occurred overnight into Monday, the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service reported.
The first fire occurred in a house in Lipcani village, Briceni district. The fire destroyed the house's roof and content. Inside, the firefighters discovered the body of the 48-year-old owner of the house.
Another fire damaged a house and took the life of its 54-year-old owner in Negrea village, Hincesti district.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service advises people to pay great attention to fire safety rules, especially when handling wood-burning stoves in the cold season.
