Two men arrested two hours after committing murder

Two men from Tipala village of Ialoveni district were arrested on suspicion that they killed a co-villager aged 29. They were handcuffed and taken to the police commissariat two hours after the commission of the crime. At their homes, the police found clothes with blood stains.
Ialoveni Commissioner, Colonel Oleg Pohila has told Info-Prim Neo that the victim was found by villagers near a bus station in the center of the settlement at about 7am. The man was lying dead, with the face downwards.
Employees of the Ialoveni Police Commissariat established that the victim had signs of violent death on the body. The man was married and had two children. Earlier, he worked at the National Operative Interventions Center of the Ministry of the Interior’s Civil Protection and Emergencies Service.
The suspects aged 30 and, respectively, 35 are residents of Tipala. According to the preliminary investigations, the victim and the aggressors got into a quarrel that degenerated into a fight. The cause of the victim’s death is yet to be determined. The suspects will serve 12 to 25 years behind bars or life if they are found guilty.
