Two men suspected of attempting to rape woman in car

Two men were arrested by the police following an incident that happened at an intersection in Chisinau. The traffic police stopped a Lexus car that broke the traffic rules. When the driver was taking the documents out, a woman went out through the back door, saying the passenger tried to rape her, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the website of the Traffic Police, the Lexus was driven by a 30-year-old man. It was stopped at the intersection of Dacia Blvd. and Valea Crucii St because it traveled illegally. When the driver was asked to show the documents, a woman on the backseat asked for help. She got out through the back door, having the clothes torn and visible signs of physical violence on the body. Being in a state of shock, the 32-year-old woman said that the passenger aged 40, who was also on the backseat, attempted to rape her. The case is investigated by the Botanica Police Commissariat.
