Anticorruption officers arrested two young persons who are suspected of forging bank cards with the help of which they stole over 1 million lei, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, the suspects aged 25 and 26 cloned cards of clients of the U.S. Capital One Bank and made payments through POS terminals. The suspects were arrested after they put a number of forged cards into circulation. Twenty-five such cards were found at the head office of the company of one of them during a search. The young persons were put under arrest for 72 hours. If they are found guilty, they will serve four to eight years in jail.
