Those who want to vacation in Turkey will have to pay by 10 – 12% more than last summer. The chairman of the National Association of Travel Agencies Sevastian Botnari has told Info-Prim Neo that the average price of a trip to this country will be €500 per person.
“The rise in prices depends not on the travel companies of Moldova, but on foreign tourist operators as the charges at accommodation facilities have increased,” said Sevastian Botnari. He also said that though the prices in Turkey are higher, this country remains the most popular destination for the Moldovan tourists.
The prices in Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Romania remained at the same level as last year. A trip to one of these countries costs €350-400 on average, while to Greece by 15% less than last year, between €300 and €400.
According to statistical data, about 125,000 Moldovans traveled abroad last summer. This year the figure is expected to be 140,000.
