Winter break for the public schools across Moldova starts tomorrow, December 25, and will last until January 12, IPN reports.
The 2014/15 school year has 175 days, according to the Ministry of Education's framework plan. The next vacation after this 18-day break will be the mid-term break lasting from February 21 to March 1 for the grades I to IV, and from February 25 to March 1 for the grades V to XII. Further 10 days will be afforded around Easter, during April 11-20.
For the graduating grades, IX and XII, school will end on May 25, and until May 29 they will prepare for the graduating exams. Ninth-graders will have exams during June 3-13, and twelfth-graders during June 4-20.
The final assessment for primary school graduates will take place during Mat 11-22.
The summer break will start on May 30 and will last 94 days until August 31.
