A woman was crushed under the wheels of a bus running on the Chisinau – Bucharest route on Varlaam St near the Central Market of the capital city in the evening of May 15. She would have laid under the bus to rest and was crushed when the vehicle started.
Contacted by IPN for details, Chisinau Police Division press officer Natalia Stati said the woman’s identity hasn’t been discovered. She was apparently aged between 55 and 60. The 47-year-old driver told the police that he didn’t see the woman near the bus. It happened between 10am and 11pm.
The driver will be investigated to see if he violated the road safety rules or the rules of using units of transport.
