A woman perished when she was hit by a train running on the Chisinau – Bucharest road in the morning of February 24. The accident happened near Ghidighici village of Chisinau municipality.
Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir has told IPN that it’s not yet known if it was a suicide or the woman was struck by accident. The identity of the woman, who died on the spot, is yet to be determined.
An investigation is under way.
