A woman was hit mortally by a car near Strasteni village of Chisinau municipality. Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said the 63-year-old woman was jaywalking.
The accident happened in the evening of November 5. The driver aged 29 said he didn’t see the woman. A criminal case was started over this incident. The driver faces 3 to 7 years behind bars.
Three days ago, a woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of the Chisinau streets 31 august and Vasile Alecsandri. The 56-year-old woman didn’t survive.
