The students who possess an academic certificate showing that they completed the high school studies can take part in the repeated admission contest to apply for the contract-based places that remained unfilled at vocational schools, in accordance with an order made by Minister of Education Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
Under the order, the applicants are admitted to the contest if they pledge in written form to pass, during the 2014 session, the Baccalaureate exam or exams failed in the 2013 session.
In general, the admission contest at vocational schools is open to Moldovans who have secondary education certificates or Baccalaureate diplomas.
As many as 12,000 places are available at vocational schools this year. Only 300 are contract-based places, while the rest are funded from the budget.
