Young woman hospitalized with knife wound

A 21-year-old woman was rushed to the Emergency Hospital in Chisinau last night with a knife wound in the abdomen. Managing doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service Evelina Rusu has told Info-Prim Neo that the call was made from Bubuieci commune at midnight. The ambulance doctors found the woman in the middle of a group of young people. An investigation is under way. An inebriated woman aged 32 went into convulsions while on a street in Botanica district. She was rushed to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. A number of persons suffered yesterday sunstroke in the street. Doctors recommend avoiding exposure to the sun between 11am and 6pm, drinking as many liquid as possible, eating fruit and vegetables and not drinking alcoholic beverages. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 730 calls, dealing with 70 cases of acute viral infection, 25 cases of pneumonia, 66 cases of trauma, 6 strokes and 24 deliveries.
