The Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” closed the admission session. A number of 69 young people have been admitted this year with an average grade of 8.24 for boys and of 8.41 for girls. Twenty-nine students will study at the faculty of infantry, while by 20 at the artillery and transmissions faculties, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Defense, the young people took two admission tests – the intelligence test and the physical fitness test. For the first time in the Academy’s history, there were provided by two places for girls at the artillery and infantry faculties, and five places at the faculty of transmissions.

On July 29, the young people admitted to the Academy will go to the Bulboaca training ground where, during three weeks, they will be prepared for the academic year within the Young Student’s Integration Course. More than 200 high school graduates have applied to the Academy this year.
