In the first two months of the year, revenues totaling 9.6 billion lei, or 20.2% of the planned annual plan, have accumulated in the state social insurance budget, IPN reports.
According to the National Social Insurance House, compulsory state social insurance contributions amounted to 4.2 billion lei or 15.2% of the annual plan.
Other revenues amounted to 137.5 million lei, of which 136.9 million lei is the share of the one-time tax levied on residents of information technology parks.
Transfers from the state budget amounted to MDL 5.2 billion, according to the financing requests, of which MDL 3.1 billion was earmarked for social assistance benefits and other payments from the state budget, which were MDL 880.6 million (39.5%) higher than in the same period last year (39.5%). Another 2.15 billion lei is intended to cover the deficit of own revenues of the state social insurance budget.
Total expenditure incurred is 8.2 billion lei or 17.2% of the planned annual amount. Compared to the same period of the previous year, expenditure was 18.8% higher.
According to CNAS, the execution of the state social insurance budget in the first two months of this year ended with the excess of revenues over expenditures by 1.413 billion lei.
The balance of funds on CNAS accounts, according to the February 1 report, amounted to 1 billion 537 million lei.
