Activists demand that PAS leader should apologize publicly to President Dodon

A group of activists demand that the leader of the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) Maia Sandu should apologize publicity for saying that all the actions of Igor Dodon show that he is in essence a family destroyer.

In a news conference at IPN, the head of the public association “Pro Ortodoxia”, priest Gennady Valuța said the non-familyists do not have the moral right to judge the pro-familyists. To be a good example, Maia Sandu should start her own family.

According to Gennady Valuța, the Congress of Families held under the aegis of President Dodon was a miracle. An event of such a scale held in such a small state as Moldova is possible only with God’s help. The goal of the congress was to address the problems faced by families and to discuss the risks of the propaganda of non-traditionalists at local and international levels and solutions to this phenomenon.

Activist Mihai Balica said Maia Sandu does not have the moral right to criticize those who tend to live as our ancestors lived. “Let’s keep the traditions where the family consists of a man and a woman and many children,“ he stated. The activist expressed his regret at the fact that any criticism against feminists or people of nontraditional sexual orientation results in the presentation of apologies and fines, but this does not happen in the case of those who attack the family as an institution.

The activists noted they were disappointed at the fact that some of the media outlets didn’t cover the World Congress of Families that was held in Chisinau during September 14-16.
