Additional measures were taken to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in dorms of higher education establishments and technical vocational schools, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research said the dwellers who left the dorm after the educational process was suspended are banned from returning to dorms before the resumption of the educational process at education institutions. The entrances and exits of dorms will be monitored by a special regime.

All the rooms will be sanitized according to the epidemiological prophylaxis norms. The dorm dwellers will strictly obey the protection and prevention measures taken in connection with COVID-19.

The Ministry made such an order following the reporting of cases of infection with the novel coronavirus among university students.
