Approximately 2.7 billion lei allocated for the government's "373" entrepreneur support program

Around 2.7 billion lei has been allocated in the 15 months since the launch of the Government's "373" program to support entrepreneurs. As a result, 605 investment projects have already been completed or are at various stages of implementation, according to IPN.

The Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship notes that these investments support the development of companies employing approximately 6,580 people, with an estimated creation of over 1,380 new jobs in the near future. The funds have been directed towards the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, thus contributing to the support of a vital segment of the national economy.

The geographic distribution of investment projects covers all districts, with values proportional to the number of companies in each area. The largest investments were recorded in the central part of the country—over 1 billion lei—in Chișinău, which received 935 million lei, while the north of the country attracted 485 million lei, and the south, including the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, received 247 million lei. The average value of a loan is approximately 3 million lei.

Program 373 is in demand from companies across a wide range of sectors. The largest investments have been made in the energy production and supply sector, which accounted for approximately 42% of the total value of investment projects. Transportation and storage represented another significant sector, capturing 22%, followed by the processing industry with 15%.

Loans provided to entrepreneurs through Program 373 are available at any bank in the country, offering them opportunities to develop their businesses, make progress, and create new jobs.
