Update/12:17pm/ No explosive devices were found at the Buiucani and Centru Courts of the capital city. Legal action was taken over intentional misinformation about an act of terrorism. The bomb hoaxer faces a fine of 27,500 to 42,500 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service or a jail term of at most two years.
(Initial news item) Two bomb threats were reported in the morning of November 10, at the Buiucani and Centru Courts of Chisinau. A man called the 112 Service at about 9:30am and said that explosive devices were planted inside the buildings, IPN reports.
Specialized services are carrying out examinations at the scene. The police fenced the area and evacuated the employees and visitors from the two buildings.
Measures are being taken to identify the caller.
