The Ministry of Construction and Territorial Development will announce a tender contest to select the company that will repair the buildings of the Parliament and Presidential Office devastated by persons that protested against the election outcome on April 7, the Government’s press officer Vitalie Condratchi has told Info-Prim Neo.
Vitalie Condratchi said that he does not know why Glorinal company and under what agreements transports the waste collected in the two devastated buildings.
The press often reported that the construction company Glorinal belongs to Oleg Voronin, President Vladimir Voronin’s son. Earlier, the director of Glorinal Vasile Chirica was awarded the Order of the Republic by the head of state.
The works to restore the two buildings are estimated at 300 million lei. The money will be allocated from the 2009 funds earmarked for the institutions whose students, according to Vladimir Voronin, participated in the April 7 protests.
