Possibilities of signing a social protection agreement between Spain and Moldova and of recognizing the Moldovan driver’s licenses and university diplomas were discussed in a meeting of the delegation of the Bureau for Diaspora Relations with members of the diaspora in Spain, IPN reports.
The Moldovan migrants in Spain said it is rather hard to stage cultural events and therefore asked for assistance from the Bureau in organizing events with a major impact. The Moldovan citizens who settled in Madrid proposed involving the diaspora in working out the plan of action for developing nostalgic tourism and using the experience of the diaspora in this regard.
During January 27-30, a Moldovan delegation is paying a working visit to Spain to have consultations with the diaspora. The delegation consists of the head of the Bureau for Diaspora Relations Olga Coptu, senior consultant of the Bureau Valeriu Sajin and the representative of the International Organization for Migration Mission to Moldova Gennady Cretu.
