The lycee and university for gifted children, at which the future scientists will study, started to work within the Moldovan Academy of Science on September 1, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Academy's president, Gheorghe Duca, 98 admission applications have been received and 34 children for the real profile have been selected afterwards real and 16 students for humanities. Out of them, 35 are from 29 rural areas, and 15 from Chisinau municipality. Since the studying rooms and the campus will be put in commission in November, the classes are held in the Academy's Instruction Center, Gheorghe Duca said. This year, only aspirants to become masters and doctors will study at the university, as 20 people have been admitted for biology, 20 – for ecology, 11 – for chemistry and 14 for physics. 325 doctor aspirants will take admission exams in October.
