The main newscast in Romanian of the public TV channel Moldova 1 – “Mesager” - will begin at 7pm from next week, two hours earlier than now. “We want to be the first in informing the people about what happened during the day. At 9pm the people already know many things. We decided to broadcast the main news program before the other TV channels,” Moldova 1 director Angela Sirbu stated for Info-Prim Neo. The newscast that starts at 9pm will continue to be broadcast, but will be shorter. A number of bulletins in Romanians will be aired during the day. The bulletins in Russian will begin at 9am, 5pm and 11pm. There will be also broadcast a number of serials for different tastes and ages. The new contest-program “History and Victory” that was launched on October 2 will be transmitted every Sunday. “We are trying to strengthen the education and entertainment segments by adding new programs and movies,” said Angela Sirbu. According to her, new entertainment programs will appear by the end of this year.
