Over 3,500 citizens were registered for testing EVO application in Beta version. The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and the e-Government Agency announced the start of testing, IPN reports.
The people who registered through evo.gov.md and indicated complete information about the operating system of the mobile phone received the application for testing. iOS users received an email from TestFlight app with access instructions, while Android users – a direct link to access the Play Store. The versions offered for testing are: 83 for Android and 90 for iOS.
According to the Ministry, access to all functionalities of the application requires authentication with electronic signature. Users without an electronic signature will have limited access. The Beta version works with real data, reflecting the real identity of the user.
The institution also said that user feedback is crucial for detecting errors and continuously optimizing EVO. Users can report errors via the “Leave us feedback” button that is available on the app’s home screen. Reported errors and information will be analyzed and prioritized by the development team and the list of improvements will be included in regular app updates.
For EVO Beta testing, digital documents and a digital wallet, MPay payments and management of state payments receiving accounts are available. Personal and tax information, business data and health information – the insured status of the user and children – are also available. There is also access to information about public services with the option to initiate the process of obtaining from the application for electronic ones.
“We know that many wanted to see and live the experience of using EVO. That’s why we’re rolling out the test version to the public so as to make the development process as inclusive as possible. This is only the beginning, but this first step is very important to strengthen EVO. As of today, all those who has access to EVO have their documents in digital format and we encourage them to use them extensively and inform us directly if they had encountered difficulties in use. We also remind all institutions about the obligation to accept digital documents submitted through EVO,” said Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba.
