A woman pensioner from Chisinau got back her apartment that she donated to her nephew after this promised her that he will take care of her, but didn’t keep his word. The 82-year-old woman complained to prosecutors, who sued the man in her name, IPN reports.

The pensioner reached an agreement with her nephew: she will donate her apartment to the man, while he will care for her the rest of her life. When the apartment was signed over, the man forgot about his promise and the elderly woman had to purchase food and medicines herself.

The Botanica Court admitted the civil lawsuit filed by the prosecutors and ordered terminating the contract by which the apartment was transferred to the woman’s nephew. The decision can be appealed to a higher court.
