Oana Stoica Mujea launches novel “Black Widow's Perfume” in Chisinau

Romanian writer Oana Stoica Mujea presented her detective novel “Anatomical Indexes” and its follow-up “Black Widow's Perfume” in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. The characters of the thriller books are the author's friends and acquaintances. Iolanda Stireanu, a character that appears in both of the books, is like Agatha Christie. She conducts investigations, is dynamic and is afraid of nothing and no one. The novel “Anatomical Indexes” includes three real characters, while “Black Widow's Perfume”- 19 real characters. “When I wrote the novel, I asked everyone for their consent to mentioning their names, surnames and even jobs,” the author said. ”The follow-up has a smell of death, but it directs you to life,” writer Emilia Ghetu said at the launch, adding it is a very exciting book. Writer Dumitru Crudu said he wanted to read such a novel long ago. “I have a sense of nostalgia for detective stories and I like the heroine I discovered. She is an ardent and unusual woman who leaves you speechless.” Oana Stoica Mujea launched her first novel, “Master – Abduction of Gods”, in 2005. In 2007, she started to write scrips for Media Pro Pictures, while later she worked as a journalist. The novel “Anatomical Indexes” appeared in Romania in 2009.
