The Prosecutor General's Office (PG) will ensure transparency in its activity and will be always open for cooperation with the mass media, Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko told a roundtable meeting on corruption organized by the Investigative Journalism Center. Zubko said the PG's relations with the press and the society in general will be transparent, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the same time, the Prosecutor General expects support from the investigative journalists, who could provide additional information, including in cases of corruption. Valeriu Zubko said the Prosecutor General's Office has already collected about 800 press articles about cases of corruption, stressing they represent a great contribution for the public authorities. According to him, they are now working on a strategy for reorganizing the Prosecutor General's Office and the Anticorruotion Prosecutor's Office and improving their managerial capacities. In this connection, the Prosecutor General said that all the institution's employees will be hired by contest and only through the agency of the Supreme Council of Prosecutors.
