1 million lei worth of cannabis plants discovered in Strasaeni

Police discovered a plantation of 1,000 pieces of cannabis plants valued at 1 million lei in a household in Roscani village, Straseni district, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Interior Ministry's website. The suspect, a 64-year-old man, faces a fine of up to 14,000 lei or up to 1 year in prison. Marijuana plants were also discovered in two villages in Donduseni district. In Balcov village, near a cattle farm, there were discovered over 550 cannabis plants on an uncultivated filed. The second plantation with almost 200 plants was found in a household of a 58-year-old man.
