1,000 Moldovans will get the chance to work legally in Israel

Moldova and Israel signed an agreement on Wednesday which offers the right to work legally in Israel to 1,000 Moldovans. The agreement was signed at the meeting of Moldovan-Israelite joint intergovernmental commission. Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov, co-chairman of the commission, told Info-Prim Neo that at the meeting the two sides discussed about agriculture and about the modernization of the phyto-sanitary laboratory under another Moldo-Israelite joint project. Vasile Bumacov signed the protocol of the third ordinary meeting. In the document, the two sides expressed their concern over the negative impact of this summer’s drought on food safety, agriculture and economy as a whole. The document encourages joint projects in fields like water supply and modern irrigation, greenhouses, poultry farming, ecological agriculture, by attracting and directly involving in these projects the private sectors of both countries. Other provisions refer to the intensification of cooperation in a project regarding the creation of a laboratory for measuring pesticide waste in plants, soil and plant products, and to identify partners for this project. Another part highlights the importance of strengthening reciprocal cooperation in the field of rural development, experience exchange in the field of functioning of institutions and bodies for the application of regional development policies.
