A consignment of 100,000 tests for COVID-19, contracted by Moldova, is in the customs post and will be most probably received towards this evening, the head of the National Public Health Agency Nicolae Furtună told a news conference.
He was quoted by IPN as saying that tests of the previous batches used by medical institutions are enough for several days.
About 125,000 tests for COVID-19 have been done since the outbreak of the pandemic.
In the Republic of Moldova, free tests are performed for persons suspected of having contracted the virus and those who had contact with an infected person and also for frontline employees.
