11 million lei allocated for regional development

The National Regional Development Fund will transfer 4 million lei to supplement the construction of a water pipeline connecting Leova and Iargara. This was decided following a visit made by prime minister Pavel Filip at the site, the Government’s press service reported.

The construction stated at the beginning of this year. With the pipeline completed, it will provide drinking water to 28 communities in Leova district. The 61 million lei project is implemented with the financial support of the German government and with the contribution of the Leova District Council.

Also today, it was decided to allocate 7 million lei from the National Regional Development Fund to fund the repair of a 4.5 stretch of local road in Orhei district connecting the villages of Ciocalteni and Clisova. The project’s finality is to see three more villages in the neighboring Telenesti district connected to the repaired road.
