Another 110 infections with COVID-19 were detected in Moldova on April 17, out of the 549 processed samples. The figures were presented by Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu after the meeting of the Single Command Center, IPN reports.
According to the minister, three of the newly confirmed infections are cases of import, while 107 are local transmission cases. Most of the infections were recorded in Chisinau, Căușeni and Edineț.
The number of infections with COVID-19 now rose to 2,264. Of these, 276 persons recovered, while 55 succumbed to the disease.
