The localities affected by torrential rain, strong winds and hail in June-September 2024 will benefit from 115 million lei in financial assistance. A draft decision to this effect was approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.
The funds will be distributed to the districts of Rezina, Hâncești, Floresti, Telenesti, Ialoveni, Strășeni, Cantemir and Leova, where, due to the torrential rain, massive destruction of road infrastructure and private homes was witnessed.
The decision will be carried out by the local public authorities of the affected regions.
