1/3 of Moldovan soldiers to spend holidays at home

One third of the Moldovan serving military, who positively remarked themselves while serving, will spend their New Year's holidays at home, as other 30 percent will be allowed to leave for he Christmas, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Defense Military.
During the winter holidays, all the military units and entities will organize cultural-educative events: contests of carol singers, plays, arranging barracks for the holidays, etc. The military will also be encouraged to attend religious services in churches.
Some 2,000 children of the military and civil employees in the Moldovan Army have received gifts from Santa, plus, 235 from two boarding schools from Cahul, cared for by the Defense Ministry, reads a release. The officers from the major staff collected money to buy a TV set and a microwave stove for the children from Cahul.
