17th edition of Crizantema de Argint Festival is dedicated to Grigore Vieru’s memory

Singer Tatiana Straista-Burlac won the big prize of the Crizantema de Argint Festival (Silver Chrysanthemum.).The Gala of laureates of the romance festival-contest took place on Saturday evening, February 28, and was dedicated to poet Grigore Vieru, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Direction of Public Relations of the Chisinau City Hall. The winner of the big prize, Tatiana Straista-Burlac, is a student of the second year, at the Chisinau Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, professor Ioan Paulencu’s class. The big prize is 10 thousand lei. Nina Ermurache, Nicolae Cibotaru, Mihai Ciobanu, Silvia Goncear, Maria Mocanu, accompanied by the Folclor Orchestra, artistic director and prime-bandmaster Petre Neamtu gave performances at the Gala of Laureates, reads the release of the City Hall. The romance festival-contest is organized by the Direction of Culture of the Chisinau City Hall. The founder of the Festival is departed Rica Ungureanu, the former deputy mayor of the Targoviste municipality. The prize “Rica Ungureanu was instituted in his memory starting this year, and it was offered to artist Petre Neamtu.
